EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY ALL PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AT THE CHURCH HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  This includes Sunday School and Worship Service. No activities (meetings, events, etc) will be held at the church. 

What is the church’s official response to the COVID-19 pandemic? 

Our church’s official response to this pandemic is that we believe in FAITH over FEAR. We are following all recommended protocols and directives given by CDC and local health professionals.


Will SNBC continue to have in-person service on Sundays?

Pastor Noble and Media Ministry will continue to stream Sunday School, Corporate Prayer and Sunday Sermon, and Wednesday morning and evening Bible Studies. 

You can access this via Facebook on the Pastor’s Page, at Pastor Johnny Ray Noble, Ph.D.

Pastor Noble’s sermons are still being broadcast on the radio (WWDM 101.3) for those who do not have internet access. Additional worship platforms will be forthcoming from Pastor Noble.

Please continue to be in prayer as the world deals with this health crisis. As the Deacon and Compassionate care Ministries reach out to our Sick and Shut-in members, Pastor Noble is asking each of us to communicate with our Silver Saints to minimize feelings of isolation and loneliness they may feel at this time. 


How do I continue to give my tithes/offerings? 

You are encouraged to use Givelify or Paypal  or  Cash App: $snbc1903 to submit your tithes/offerings. (You can download Givelify or PayPal from your app store or use direct link on church website at

You may also mail your tithes and offerings to the church at Second Nazareth Baptist Church, PO Box 4307, Columbia, SC 29204.


Communication to members will continue through email, phone and church’s website. Prayer Requests, notifications, etc. can be left on church’s voicemail (803.256.0088x0), sent to church email ([email protected]) or contact through church website ( 

Pastor Noble will setup GOTOMEETINGs for Ministries that need to host an online meeting.

You can also access the church website on your mobile device (YOU DO NOT NEED AN APP).

Can SNBC host funerals during this time?

Yes, we can host the funeral. However, we will prepare to-go plates for repasts. Only immediate family will be hosted.

Can SNBC host weddings during this time?

Yes, we can offer the ceremony. However, we cannot host receptions or serve food/drink.

Are ministry meetings canceled?

Yes. There will be no ministry meetings, to include rehearsals.

Can SNBC host events during this time? What happens to the events currently scheduled?

All events previously scheduled are canceled.
